Special thanks to Chris Reeves, Empire Z's former President.  Chris got the ball rolling on Empire Z becoming an official club.  We would not be here without him.  Thanks Chris.

Also, Special Thanks to Sameer Khan and John O'Tool.  Sameer and John were the main founders of the group back when it was formed in 2000.   Years of devotion and support definitely paid off for the group.  Much appreciated Sameer and John.

April  27, 2003:  SCAL MotorSport Auto's Z Show

Empire Z met early Sunday morning, April 27, to caravan down to the MotorSports Auto Show located in the city of Orange.  This has been the third MotorSports Auto show that we have attended since our club formed in July 2000.  We left Denny's with about 20 Z's and met up later with Josh and a few others who secured a spot for Empire Z.  Thanks to Josh for getting down there at 4-5am to save us a space.  When our group reached the show, there was a line of Z's that extended from the entrance and zigzagged through the neighboring streets for about 1.3mile.  Quite a awesome sight.  As we pulled in, Josh had procured us a spot just inside the entrance, almost at the corner.  Turned out to be a great spot if you ask me.  We lined up and a few of us who were obsessed did some dusting and tire cleaning on the Z's before venturing off to look at the other Z's that were there.  It turned out to be a sunny, clear day that went excellent.  One of our members Javier placed 2nd for the modified Z31Class.  After the show we hung out with some L.A. and O.C. county guys and grabbed something to eat at The Block.  Click HERE for Pics

December  02 ,2002:  Empire Z Mountain Cruise

The Cruise began at the Chevron Station located in Highland, CA at 11:00am.  About 11 Z's showed up to make a  mix of 300's 280's, and 240's.  We met up, fueled up, and then headed up the 330 freeway to tackle the SCal mountains before the snow hit for the season.  Originally, the date was set for 11/24/02 but Brad reminded us that the IDRC Finals were on that day so, we pushed the cruise back a week.  After we made it up to Big Bear Village we grabbed a few pizzas at a local Italian dinner (pretty good pizza BTW) and chatted a bit.

Rick then suggested instead of heading down the 38 through Angelus Oaks (which was the original plan), we alter the cruise to drive down the back side of Big Bear on the 38 Highway to the High Desert area.  From there, we drove through  the Lake Silverwood area to the Cajon Pass.  Good suggestion Rick!  All-in-all it was a great cruise and a good day.
