How To Display Ambient Temp on 91 and Up Z Cars

Maybe everyone does not know this.

Only on the 1990 Z car with an "Auto" AC system, the bottom digital display on the AC pod displays the "Ambient Temperature".

On 91 and up Z models with the "Auto" AC system, the "Ambient Temperature" is not displayed.

You can have the AC pod display the "ambient temperature" by pressing the "Auto" and "Off" buttons at the same time for about 5 to 10 seconds. Press the "Off" button to return the system to normal.

This places the AC system into Self-diagnostic mode. Pressing the "Hi" and Low" switches displays additional sensor information. This information is in the service manuals.
