Z32 running on 3 cylinders

Hey guys,

Thank you thank you Jerry. What's up guys. Not sure if you guys rememeber me but my name is Munir Khan. My older brother is Sameer Khan (burgandy TT with black rims).

Anyways, I recently decided to face the beast and fix my TT 2+2. It had terrible oil leaks and after talking to a few of the guys at my work (Rock Honda) I convinced myself to have them work on it (since the labor would be so much cheaper for me).

We started off with wanting to just do a complete MyISAM gasket reseal. As parts started coming off, we realized bad the MyISAM was. The turbos had small puddles of oil in them, some of the valves were bent, and a few other detrimental issues. And then, we pulled out the pistons. CRACKED! Which explains why the turbos were sucking up so much oil.

Anyways, 5 months later, I put in new stock turbos from Z1 motorsports with new oil and coolant lines, resurfaced the heads and replaced a few bent valves, rebuilt the block-new pistons .20 over, replaced every single hose with Z1 silicone, All new seals, EGR, tensioner, Z1 T-stat, Vtc sensors, battery harness, Timing belt, and oil sump.

We get the motor in, turn it on and now cylinders 1, 3 and 5 are at zero compression. Checked the injectors, they are good, has spark so coils are all good, timing is good. We are stumped!

Talked to Max (beige 2+2 turbo and best dang Z Tech I know) and he said it may be a lifter issue. He lives in Kansas right now otherwise I would take it to him ASAP.

Need a new "best dang Z Tech" now :)

Any suggestions? I would love it if someone could take the time out of there day to just stop by Fontana to just suggest what we should do. I asked Nissan this (next door) and they basically said we were on our own.

I am willing to pay for your time. :)

Please help!

Sincerely,

Munir Khan

Also, I am suspecting that since my motor is pre 90, the valves are the "30p" type instead of the "EG". Perhaps this is also contributing to the dead cylinders. I am already way over budget and am avoiding getting new heads but I may have to. This is will eliminate the lifter and valve issue I hope.

Suggestions on some Techs willing to help?

Thank you!!
